Fem·i·nism - the advocacy of women's rights on the basis of the equality of the sexes.
However, feminism isn’t anything to be scared of or intimidated by. It is simply clarifying and specifying the need for gender equality. Not that women are better than men, or that all men should die through an alien invasion.
So what is equality?
E·qual·i·ty - the state of being equal, especially in status, rights, and opportunities.
The world is not equal, systemic injustice has reigned for too long, and only through the vocalization about this inequality and action to change it can we hope to overcome it.
So, do you believe in equality?
Are you a feminist?
If not, do you believe that some people are less worthy than others?
The myth that the battle against gender inequality is over is false, to this very day millions of women and men are still waging war for a future society that is devoid of this injustice.
I’d like to be remembered as someone who fought for change, someone who spoke out against evil, someone who cared about justice.
How would you like to be remembered?
