I Like It Like That

We all have had times when we wake up in the morning and look into the mirror, sighing saying that either, we are too thin, or fat, or anything that makes us feel down about our body. I have felt the same way too many times to count. Not everyone around me sees it, but even I do feel uncomfortable, so I do understand that we want to blend in with the crowd; we want people to notice us, show interest and not bad mouth. But the question is, why are you letting your day's mood be over just because of it? Rather than ruining your day with it, get up and find a solution, cause I am telling you that doing nothing will get you nowhere and you know it too. However, remember don’t force your body, try to find shortcuts and knowingly cause harm to your body or diet cause those kinds of actions can just make things worse for you.

Studies show 94% of teenage girls and 64% of adolescent boys have been shamed for the way their body looks at least once in their lifetime. These numbers remind us that there are people out there who don't understand our situation and it isn't worth changing the way we look, boys or girls, to satisfy them. Like everyone reminds us, what is essential is that we are happy the way we are, don’t let someone else tell you where you should stand or how your body shape should be. So what you don’t have a slim body or the body other's want you to have, but do you love yourself? Do the people around you still love you, cause if they do then, my friend; you have the right environment around you, so be happy about it. Women, men, girls and boys remember you have the choice to choose how you want to look, what you want to become, no one has the right to oppress or stop you from it, make your choice cause that is your right.

Practice your rights cause the time we spend appreciating others' bodies while criticising ours, I think it is more worth it to take that time and appreciate what we have, what we can do, how we can make an impact.
